# SatellitePro > SatellitePro is a satellite RF coverage and interference analysis platform by EDX Wireless. It computes link budgets, coverage heatmaps, availability statistics and interference screenings for real satellite constellations using pinned ITU-R propagation models — in the browser for instant studies, on a compute queue for large ones, and through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so AI agents can run the same analyses conversationally. SatellitePro answers questions like "will this constellation serve this area at this frequency, at what margin, how often" — with reproducible physics rather than marketing coverage maps. Every figure traces to a named ITU-R Recommendation, every run's parameters are recorded, and every template ships with a downloadable engineering guide. Key capabilities: - **Seven study kinds**: satellite coverage timelines over a fixed terminal, area coverage grids (heatmaps of margin, availability and best-server), demand-weighted coverage scored against traffic maps, cellular coverage from terrestrial models, hybrid satellite/terrestrial handover along a route, rocket-launch telemetry links, and C-band coexistence (aggregate I/N screening at a victim earth station). - **A 30-template catalogue** flying real constellations from pinned element sets — Iridium NEXT, OneWeb, Starlink samples, Globalstar, SES O3b, the GPS operational fleet — over real geographies: Alpine broadband, North Atlantic shipping corridors, smart-meter backhaul, EV fleet telematics, wildfire response enrichment, polar research stations. - **Pinned ITU-R physics**: the P.618 Earth-space chain (rain from P.837/P.838/P.839, gaseous attenuation from P.676, cloud from P.840, scintillation, XPD), P.619 for interference paths, Hata/COST-231 and P.1411 with P.2108 clutter for terrestrial models, P.2109 building entry loss — with every correction to the engine adjudicated against the printed Recommendation and recorded in a public register inside the app's technical documentation. - **Terrain-aware analysis**: per-cell ground altitude from a global elevation model feeds the atmospheric column, so mountain grids are computed on real ground rather than at sea level. - **Link budgets end to end**: EIRP, aperture-derived gains, system noise temperature, per-cell margins against a service threshold, Doppler, handover statistics, per-satellite serving shares. - **AI-agent native**: an MCP server exposes the platform's tools (create projects from templates, move terminals, set fleets, queue analyses, fetch results and charts) to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and any MCP-capable client, with OAuth onboarding and downloadable agent skills.
